Miradouro do Fortim do Faial, Santana

O Miradouro do Fortim do Faial em Santana foi construído no início do século XX recreando uma bateria militar nele existindo dez pequenos canhões de origem inglesa, que disparavam nos festejos dedicados a Nossa Senhora da Natividade. Possui ainda uma casa de apoio onde se situa a sala de exposições da Junta de Freguesia de São Roque do Faial. Daqui é possível avistar os montes circundantes, o oceano e, em dias claros, a ilha vizinha de Porto Santo e a Ponta de São Lourenço. 

The Fortim do Faial viewpoint, in Santana was built in the early twentieth century recreating a military battery in it there ten small cannons of English origin, firing in the festivities dedicated to Our Lady of the Nativity. It also has an exhibition hall of the Parish of São Roque do Faial. From here it is possible to see the surrounding mountains, the ocean and on clear days, the neighboring island of Porto Santo and Ponta de São Lourenço.
